We are currently looking for Bakers for our locations in Seattle. It is a perfect learning opportunity for candidates who aspire to move into management roles in the near future.

What You Will Be Doing:
1. Follow baking schedule
-Bake appropriate amount of products according to manager?s baking levels and time of day
2. Practice proper baking procedures
-Ensure exceptional product by following Baker?s Specification Chart, checking internal temperatures, and skillfully decorating product
3. Understand proper use of all equipment
-Know details of walk-in refrigerator, walk-in freezer, proofer, oven, thermometer, and racks
4. Communicate with others
-Announce hot product to customer service and customers
-Discuss baking level adjustments with team leaders, lead catering, and manager
-Communicate shortages or surpluses of prep items with AM/PM prep positions
5. Strive for detailed knowledge of product line
-Be aware of basic ingredients in products
6. Maintain a clean area
-Consolidate bakery items, baker?s area, and keep customer service area tidy
7. Be quick, accurate and organized
-Respect your customers? and co-workers? space and time.
8. Perform other specified duties per Hourly Floor Operations Schedule (HFOS) which will include Customer Service

What We Need From You:
1. Be physically able to work an eight (8) hour day or more while on your feet
2. Be able to work as early as 5:00am
3. Safely lift ten (10) to fifty (50) pounds while wearing a back support belt
4. Have ability to perform basic mathematics on the spot
5. Show sharp attention to detail
6. Excellent customer service skills
