Blue-Eyed Bakers

Here's a little bit about the authors of this blog in their own words:

"Hi cupcakes! Let's talk about us ok? We're Katy & Abby. We're sisters. We bake. We have blue eyes. Connecting the dots to the catchy blog name are we? Excellent. We knew you were smarties.

We live in Boston (Katy) and New York (Abby). We love sweet things. Oh and savory things. Oh and crispy, crunchy, generally delicious things. It's genetic. So we can't be blamed really.

We were raise by a baker. A very short British one. Yummy things were always being made. And devoured almost immediately by two adorable little girls (us, obviously) and one messy little boy (aww little brother). Brownies, cakes and cookies coursed through our veins. We know, it was blissful.

So it was only a matter of time before we began baking. And being the tech savvy girls that we are (umm...er...) - just about 20 years or so until we began this blog.

Everything we know about baking we learned from that short, British mother of ours. Sometimes we measure things carefully. Sometimes we're a bit reckless with that. Regardless, things usually turn out rather deliciously. And if they don't, the little brother will eat them anyway. So what's stopping you? Come on! Bake with us! It'll be fun. Yes, really fun."
